Hi,
Just bought a Yanmar 1720D as I have acquired a few acres.
I know nothing about tractors (yet) but have bought a manual from Hoye (sold a kidney to buy it...).
Tractor seems quite easy to use (has power shift), though I somehow managed to wheelie it whilst using a tiller/rotovator . I have attached a home-made hand control lever to the clutch as I can't use foot controls; I am paraplegic following a fall a few years ago (don't ask me how I get on and off it, suffice to say that it 'aint easy, and I've become de-trousered a couple of times....).
Hope to find answers to some of the increasingly many questions I have about the tractor.

Well, according to TractorData.com, the YM1720 was only built 1982-83. The 'D' seems to indicate that it's a 4WD model.

Yes, it is a 4 wheel drive... so around 35 years old........
