I consider the Gravely riding tractors the very best ever made. I owned a 8163 and presently own a 16-G. Some Gravely tractors have hour meters and some do not. If you raise the hood the hour meter would be on the left side panel of the dashboard. Where the back edge of the hood covers it when closed. The PTO engagement on Gravely tractors is not subtle. It could be easy to stall the engine if one is not used to engaging the PTO. I would run it again and check it out. For $1,000 I would buy it in a second. If anything ever happens to my 16-G I will look for another used Gravely to replace. There is nothing made now even close. They are virtual tanks. With the motor and heavy cast iron transmission under the seat there is no better riding tractor on hills.

I would very much like to see these pictures and how well you like the tractor. After having them for over 20 years I know a little more than some about them. I don't know what a 24-G weighs but my 16-G weighs 1,300#. A 16HP riding tractor that weighs 1,300#. Try to find a 16HP riding tractor that weighs 1,300# these days.
