So here's the deal, I bought my 3032E new for $16,800 in 2009. I enjoyed it and it always ran well. The cheeper feel was fine for my first tractor but It was getting long in the tooth and I need a bit tougher tractor. I sold it for $13,500. Cant complain about the resale so moving on to a newer one.

I only have 3 acres now with horses so lots of mowing and gravel moving but looking at a 17 acre spot and may need more tractor.

JD 3039R is 29k
NH Boomer 35 is 28k
Not sure about the Kubota L3901
I actually like the New Holland but unsure about the durability
Kubota pedal may bug me but I am going to look at it tomorrow to be safe in my buying
Price quotes seem a bit high though adn was hoping to be in the 24k range

Anything I am missing? Should i look at a Kioti or LS?
I have dealers all around me.
Thanks in advance

If you have the time, compare as many brands as you can and test drive them. You won't regret it.

Near any RK Tractor stores? If so, add it to list of places to check out:

RK55HC Tractor | RK Tractors <-- $30k for cab model HST.

Check out the Yanmar YT235 too. Really nice machine, Japanese quality, lots of features, about $22K for ROPS, $27K for cab with heat and A/C.

Drive as many of them as you can. Do not buy an uncomfortable machine. You'll remember it every time you sit on it. When I was tractor shopping 18 years ago, I found the NH machines to be the most comfortable and ergonomically layed out machines. I could not fit on the JD model I was considering. My knees hit the steering wheel. The Kubota's brakes and go pedal on the same foot just struck my as "what were they thinking?" Things like that.... The machine I ended up with fits me very well. I can work it ridiculously hard for hours and not feel beat up. So sit on them, operate them, think about it hard. Don't rush into a purchase based solely on specs and price.
