Bobcat ct225 and Bad Boy zero turn
Well I scored a new (but slightly weathered) 7tb. Backhoe. Only problem is it did not come with a instruction / assembly manual and I can't make heads or tails out of the 2 bags of bolts that came with it. So now I have to weight until bobcat can locate one unless I can determine what bolt goes where. Man there's a lot of bolts in those bags. It's strange because the hoe is all assembled I just have to install subframe.

Initially, it looks like the subframe is missing. There should be a section about 8 feet long that extends backwards behind the seat and hooks to "claws" attached to your tractor frame. That's how it leverages. Also, from memory, your dipper looks different than mine. I wonder if that's the old style?

It could be an older style I'm not sure how to tell I know it's been sitting around quite a while. Yeah I think I can kind of tell what goes where the problem is the bolts. A lot of the bolts are different sizes and different threads and they are supposed to be threaded directly into the tractor for the brackets of the subframe. The two rear brackets alone require six bolts each and they are of three different sizes I have figured out four of the six as far as size but I've not sure on the length, the remaining two are still a mystery I've tried every bolt in the box and none of them seem to fit.

This sounds like a job for the local dealer to finish up.

I think they would still need a manual. I have read older posts about dealers leaving out the four bolts (2 on each rear bracket) that I am having a question about on dealer installs.

Tman. If your BH is serial number AE3H00101 & above, PM me your email address and I'll send you the 7TB Operation and Maintenance Manual.

My dealer mis-installed mine. I had them get me the correct parts and just fixed the hack job myself.

Thanks 7.62mm. I'll check when I get home I'm heading to hardware store to try to get proper bolts

It looks like yours is the latest version. I think you need the subframe kit #7151804. The manual has part numbers of what is in the kit too...

There is no subframe item number all they have is a cardboard box full of parts and bolts and fasteners. It looks like what came directly from the factory though all strapped to the same pallet as the backhoe in subframe. I believe it is the correct kit. Here is a picture of the two bolts that are the Mistry. Tried every bolt in the packages none fit. went to hardware store to get some turns out 13 mm fine thread is what I think it is and I believe that is a odd size. So I'm beginning to think only four bolts per bracket is required seems like that would be sufficient.
