Yea, I will be changing to ATV tires hopefully sooner than later.

Last night I backed mine into some deeper snow with the ATV tires and I could feel it getting hung up and slipping. Put it in low 4 and crawled out. Hopefully the tracks will be the answer:licking:

By the way, I played a bit and couldn't detect any grinding up front. I'll keep listening but it sounds quiet.

I found at today its not true 4wd or is it? Locking the diff only locks the rear right? Dealer advised it was true 4wd where all 4 tires turn. Today, on a snow covered hill, I was pulling a trailer and wanted to see how far I could make it in 2wd. Had to eventually engage 4wd and while it was trying to bite, only one front tire would spin, then depending on traction the opposite side would spin while the other wouldn't.

I do believe something is wrong with my front axle because of the noise. Can you at least feel the difference in the front end between 2wd and 4wd? Its hard to describe the noise mine makes.

Actually it is 1, 2, 3 and 4 wheel drive (this is all according to my dealer's salesman not me :confused3

2wd is only 1wd /limited slip until you lift up on the diff lock (left lever on the dash) then it locks up and both rear spin
4wd is really 3wd limited slip until diff lock is engaged then it is full on 4wd. With the diff lock off it should allow one side either 2wd or 4wd to slip so as not to tear up turf or when turning on dry pavement not to stress the drive line as the outside wheel of a turn spins more than the inner one.

Check to see if one of your levers is partially out of place OR maybe needs to be adjusted as maybe something is out of alignment. Mine does grind when I try shifting without waiting or using the brake. Yes, I can feel the difference 2wd to 4wd and when differential lock is engaged.

Hmmmmmmph, I think this may call for another test drive. Honey, I have to check out something very important with the utv, I'll be back:laughing:

If you can't get yours to stop making the noise I would talk with your dealer.

Congratulations! Looks like mines child. Bought a RTV1140 Camo a few weeks ago. Me and the Grands love it.
