Has anyone had any luck with them?
I am a die hard Greenball and Maxxis trailer tire guy. I usually purchase as many as 10 sets of tires per year but my local supplier was out.
This weekend I had 2 tires fail, Goodyear Marathon, (pure junk).... The tires were 4 years old and very low miles but still failed. I had check the pressure last week and all was fine. Well one lost the tread and the other broke a belt and developed a big lump in it. This was all in a 80 mile trip. My last set of Marathons were also junk on my Car Haul trailer. I had 2 of the 4 fail in the first year. They were both broken belts and subsequent blown sidewalls.
I got a good deal on them. They only had 3 in but will get the 4th tomorrow and drop it off at my house. I gave $70 each for 225/75/15 radials that are load range D (8ply) mounted and balanced with new valve stems.
When I got home I did a google search and could see no negative comments other than they are made in China. That does not bother me one bit. 80% of the tires I have good luck with are made overseas. Got a kick out of reading some of the forums. Many say as I do that the worst trailer tire is Carlisle followed closely by Goodyear Marathons.
Which by the way are made in Australia according to the sidewall of the ones I just took off.
Any feedback will be appreciated.
