Help Yanmar YM155D Rebuild

Need a Service Manual on Yanmar YM155D emailed in PDF if someone can help. We are a New Holland & Massey Ferguson Dealer so our manuals are no good... Also, question if there is a major difference between the 2TR13A-G00529 Engine that was on it and the 2TR13-008408 Engine the customer provided us to rebuild for him(is the later grey market and not comatible with good parts from first) - the rebuild is done and we have and used the IT series manual for the Yanmar and information for the JD65 which has similiar series engine - we get smoke and no start.. all help or comments welcomed! The one thing about Yanmars that might not occur to an experienced mechanic, is that the #1 cylinder is the one nearest the flywheel. Aside from that, there isn't anything unique that I can think of.

The IT manual is excellent.

Could it be sucking air at the fuel filter bowl o-ring?

I would like to hear what it was, after you get this running.

We had the injection pump rebuilt by our local Diesel Injection Place and fully rebuilt the second engine that the customer provided but had to use the crankshaft from the first. We knew about the cylinder arrangement though the IT Manual does give the wrong valve adjustment for this engine series - with this style pump the shiming of it adjusts the injection timing - so by putting temporaty shims in she fired - the mechanic was thinking that with the pump and engine rebuilt that the original single shim should have surficed - wrong - the injection place used the original mechanical parts even though they got the pressures back to spec - so the wear on the cam and the pump mechanical components throw off the injection enough to require more shims to adjust the injection timing - even though we used the method prescribed to check it.. will let you know if the shims get her to fire.

American and Grey motors are the exact same. The only difference on the american model and a grey model of the exact same size is the trottle position (american is push foward to increase Grey is reverse) and the american tractors had an internal PTO overrunning clutch. That and american tractor model number is engine HP and the Grey use PTO HP for the name.

I think those models are the same except for serial #'s unless you see some other accessory on one that's not on the other?

Thanks guys - will probably run into this again with more customers coming in with older second hand yanmars - still waiting on the pump shims - will keep you posted.
