Help with Kubota L2800

Hello,
This is my first post. I currently have a Kubota B2100 (FEL, mid-mount mower) that is too small for the job. I stopped by my local Kubota dealer and found the L2800HST and the B2800 to be somewhat in my price range. I don't know a whole lot about tractors other than operating the B2100 for the last 2 years. I like the ease of use and the mid-mount mower. I use the tractor for mowing mostly. I have 10 acres that pretty much kills it during the summer heat though.
Does the L2800HST operate basically the same as the B2100?
The price the dealer gave me for the L2800HST was:
Tractor with FEL = $15776
Woods 72" mower = $1912
They are going to give me $7500 trade in on my B2100. I would like to have a post hole digger so I was thinking if the dealer would throw one in it would feel like a good deal. I'm not sure if they'll do it though.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The standard L series L2800 and L3400 do not have a mid pto option which is needed for a mid mount mower.

If you are primarily mowing and have a stated preference for a MMM, you'd better stick to a B series machine. B series are lighter than the L as well which would be better for mowing.

If you do decide to go with L, I think that the L3400 is a better buy than the L2800 - just for the added HP at the PTO. I doubt the $ difference is very much.

The B7800 is a great basic B series package at a fabulous price - 30 hp, 4 cyl which would handle a 72" MMM. One model up from it would be the B3030 which has all the B7800 has with some bells and whistles like real 3PT position control vs. a quater inching valve, telescopic 3PT links, more comfy seat etc. etc.

If what you care about is basically mowing and a bit of lifting this and that with the FEL then I think the B7800 may be the best bet for you. I suspect it would be very close to the L2800 in price. I found that my L3400 would have been almost identical to a B3030 but the L series machine met my needs better.
