Help with dog problem..

We recently adopted this dog that was owned by an elderly man that dies of lung cancer. What we didn't realize is that he has a very bad habit that we have not been able to get under control. He is a great dog in all other ways, but when called he just doesn't come...... not even for dinner. I have a short video clip that you can see when you click on the link that will give you an idea of how bad the problem is. After viewing it, please make any appropriate suggestions for a cure. Junkman that does appear to be a common problem. Now that our dog must do all his smoking outside he doesn't come when we call either. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Well it turns out that may not be such a bad thing after all. Now that he spends so much time outside he doesn't barf in the house as often after one of his all night drinking sessions. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I can't believe you make the poor thing go outside to have a cigarette! We smokers just have no rights anymore. Well, I can tell you from experience, don't be surprised if he ain't sneaking a smoke in the middle of the night somewhere in the back of the house. Do you ever find the vent-a-hood on in the morning?

DO NOT try what we did to curb our dogs habit. We switched him over to Skoal, and Beachnut! It's harder'n chineese arithmatic trying to teach a dog to spit! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
