I have a 755 and the injector pump is seeping at the connection below the injector line. I have reviewed the technical manual, but it does not show an internal breakdown of the pump. It just says if there are any issues to replace the pump. If you look at the photo I have attached, it is leaking between the pump and the nut. I have tightened that nut as tight as I can without stripping or damaging something. The tech manual for the engine says those nuts should not be tampered with because internal pump damage could occur. Does anyone know what is under that nut or how to fix this issue?

Appears already there is wrench damage to the nuts, but I know that sometimes happens. Be sure the wrench used is metric.

Gamble to try to remove that line, and then back out that fitting that leaks... in hopes it can be fixed with an 0-ring.
Or let it leak... which I wouldn't like either.

Or new pump, about $1200 new.

Did you get any movement on that nut when you tightened it as tight as you could? Did you first loosen the upper nut around the tubing before attempting to tighten the lower nut?

Before buying a new pump, I probably would attempt to remove that pipe, and then the fitting to explore if it could be fixed. Nothing to lose unless there is some kind of core exchange for a new one.

Wish you well. This leak would be annoying for sure.

It was obvious whoeverhad it before me had messed with the connection. before I tighten on that bottom nut, I took the top nut loose. I tighten on the bottom one with the correct 17 millimeter wrench. it moved just a little bit but it did not stop the leaking. its not leaking super bad, but it does seep.

Another option not listed is to remove the pump and have it serviced at an injection pump shop. That would likely be much cheaper than buying a new pump.

Remove the injector line and unscrew the delivery valve. There is an o-ring and brass washer to replace. Take the number off the pump or at a minimum the model # of the engine and go to a pump shop. They likely will have the pieces you need in stock.
