today i was trying to get the 758c BH hooked up to my TC45DA, things didnt go quite as planned. I inherited this tractor from my father in law who passed away a few years ago, i use the tractor all the time but the BH has just been sitting ever since.

Anyways, i dont have any manuals and had no idea how to hook it up so ive been doing a lot of research on here and thought i had it all figured out. Ive been reading these threads and thought i had it hooked up just like shown but the BH will not do anything.

The FEL still works properly and the 3ph does not operate as it is supposed to not work. I can hear a noise that is present from the reservoir area that is not there when the BH is not hooked up. Also the Long hose from the BH that connects to the line coming down from the FEL joystick definitely feels like its under a lot of pressure. So to summarize, i unhooked the QC line from the joystick that attaches to the distribution block, then attached it to the Long hose to the BH. I then connected the short BH hose to the Female QC on the back of the tractor by the rear remote. Am i missing something, is there some valve somewhere that needs to be turned? I did notice on the hydraulic block manifold that there looks to be a screw Pointing to an "S" position and it looks like there is also a "O" position, what does that do and does that need to be changed?

Everything on the BH and tractor appear to be hooked up correctly and no big leaks or anything.... any thoughts?

I did find that the PB screw/valve is set correctly according to the tractor manual so that isnt the problem...

got it up and going. I had everything hooked up correctly, i just didnt have the long hose completely connected to the hose at the front. The QC fitting had just enough surface rust on it that it was such a tight fit, i thought i had it inserted all the way but i did not. I had to take a file and clean it up enough to get it to connect completely. Everything is working fine now, just hope i didnt damage the pump in anyway. Doesnt seem to have caused any problems...

This thing sure is fun, but is going to take a lot of getting used to the controls to be efficient at using it.

If you do some searching here, you will find lots of threads on learning to operate a BH. The best advice I got was to start slow, by keeping the engine RPMS down and easing the controls. You are in for a lot of fun!
