Help Please-Looking for a GREEN Mower

Greetings Everyone,

I am looking for a new Land Pride, Bush Hog or Woods Mower with the following specifications: 3 point, 72 inch, medium duty, chains front & back, slip clutch and most importantly the mower must be painted JD GREEN.

Does anyone know of a dealer that would have one like the above IN STOCK on the east coast or even better in the southeast?

Depends- your desire for dual chains front and rear is a killjoy as they are normally in the rear only of most heavy brush mowers.

A land pride or JD flailmower A.K.A. green will be easy to find in existing inventories and you will not require safety chains which can become projectiles.

Is their any reason you do not wish to paint the mower green with a gallon of JD paint?

Yep painting is always an option. Not looking for a JD mower. I was hoping that someone may know of a dealer who had them in stock.

you will have to make some phone calls to canvas the territory;

Check with ken sweet on the forum here as he ships his inventory and also with agrisupply as they have an internet special with all their flail mowers delivered to you door with frieght included in the internet price-if they have a store in Ga. you can get big break on pricing if you pick it (Can you say extended beer run road trip????):laughing::thumbsup:

Why not a Deere mower? When I went looking for a mower the MX6 wasn't that much more $$$ than the mowers you mentioned and it comes standard with chains. About 4 hours into mowing with mine I hit a old ONE FOOT wide pine stump (don't ask) and it cut it! The stump was old and simi rotted but it was still wood by any standard. I was sure I had damaged my new mower but it still runs smooth as ever. I was very impressed with the MX 6 taking it in stride. My MX 6 also mows clean with it's very high blade speed. If you have a reason not to look at a Deere mower such as a bad local dealer, I would understand. However by the time you count in the chains and re-sale/trade in value I think you'll find that a MX 6 is about as good of deal as some of the mowers you mentioned.

Woods mowers come in RED, Green, Blue or Yellow(your choice) Any Woods equipment dealer who sells them could get you a Green one if you like. I dont own one but I hear that they are great mowers.
