Help Please. Kubota ZD331 - How to remove cutting Height Adjuster Knob

TRying to some repairs under the control panel and the height adjustor knob does not seem to want to bugde....can not see any set screws or circlips that would prevent removal but if I use any more force it I think plastic will break.
Tried visiting/searching the forum...a lot on green tractor but not for Kubota.

There is a hairpin clip on the shaft that keeps it in place. Access it from beside the steering lever.

Hi Toxic....thanks for advise but my tractor has no pin of any type on shaft....spent a bit of time from bottom and accessing near steering lever while also rotating the level shaft....no pin.
Went to my local Kubota dealer and he sys while it may be hard,...it just pulls off...I torqued it so hard today I don't think the bottom of the dial will be flat again but the knob didn't budge....any other suggestions are welcome!
