I just got my B7610 back from my son. He's normally pretty good on checking fluids etc.
But today I went to use the 3 point and accidentally bumped it into "raise" position, where it sat for a minute or so. It dumped like what looked like a lot of fluid, probably a half pint at least.
Yet when I check with the blasted gauge (dipstick under front of seat) it still seems full. (my method of checking the dipstick is to wipe it off, then push in/pull out and lay on fabric so I know how much oil is there).
When I pull the cap to the fill port I can see oil in the bottom, and sticking the only clean rod I could find showed at least an inch in the bottom (didn't want to lose the rod).
I'm suspecting the vent tub may be clogged, but I REALLY need the tractor for about 1 hour tomorrow and have commitments tonight.
Reading on the web I see reports of mud daubers clogging overflow and I'm not trusting the dipstick.
So now I'm concerned that the dipstick is not reading right and would like to know how full I should fill the reservoir.
