help on deciding what i need to buy

hey guys.. i have around 2 acres of property i would like to fix up... it has about 1 acre pond onsite.. what i will be doing is grading my driveway.. cutting some small hills down.. spreading rock.. cleaning around my pond.. cleaing underbrush.. and small trees.. i know saftey is a concern around a pond... what type of equipment should i be looking at that is gonna be stable.... skid steer.. compact trractor.. mini dozer?..etc... any help would be appriciated

When you say "stable" are you concerned about hills?? You didn't mention hills. Is there a big slope going to your pond? Or are you just concerned about not getting stuck by the pond?

the back side of the pond "dam side"has a steep hill.. the edges around the pond are steep.. one side of the pond is kinda steep.... the property is kinda hilly.. so yes.. i want something fairly stable

Since you're working 2 acres, and an acre of that is a pond...basically you've one acre to deal with.

I'd figure out what you want done and contract the job out...
