Help Need some tech advice please on a rear PTO

i have a blade attached to my rear pto of my B7100HST, the rear implement which is a rear blade that i clear the snow from my driveway. The speed has slowed down and while i was going to service it anyway, thought that i would change the fluid to super UDT to make them faster. I have not changed the fluid as yet.... i took it over to my neighbor who services his own tractor, and he does not have it done as yet. I went over to pick it up and the fluid cap was loose and the tractors rear pto would not raise the rear PTO at all, the tractor lost a small amount of fluid, but why wont the rear blade raise ? the front bucket raises and lwers fine .... need advice please

I'm guessing when when you say pto, you really mean your 3 point hitch (3PH)...If the cap was loose possibly some air got in and you may need to purge the system so only hydraulic fluid is present.

I'm guessing that, instead of the PTO, you have to be talking about the 3-point hitch not raising. The PTO (Power Take Off) shaft only turns; it doesn't raise or lower. And a rear blade is not powered by the PTO. The times I had that happen (3-point wouldn't raise), I found that it was because the control lever for the front end loader was not exactly centered. I had it happen at least a couple of times, each time when I had the tiller on the 3-point, and the solution was to simply gently wiggle the front end loader lever to get that valve exactly centered.
