HELP ME CHOOSE TC33D OR TC35D?

hello, i'm having a tough time choosing between a tc33d and a tc35d. basicly i will use the tractor to hog 15ac and some light tilling for food plots, maby some snow removal with a back blade. i'm not looking for a loader. and i cant believe there is only a 10-20% price difference from new to used /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif i was set on a new tc33d for $15,700 hydro and r4's untill i saw a used tc35d 3 years old for $16,500. so please help me in the wright direction.

You didn't put this in the wrong forum. You talking about buying and buying a New Holland. So I think you did it in the right forum. Also if you get time go back in and fill out your profile as to where you live. Prices vary a lot from area to area and this way people in your area can help you out. But anyway welcome to TBN.

The TC35D will put you into a larger tractor. Will this be too large for your uses. The other thing is the 33 will have a new warranty where the 35 won't have any warranty. I don't know your finances but can you get free interest or a low interest loan from New Holland on the new 33? Just some things to think about. The 35 will handle a brush hog a bit better because it is larger. The 2 hp difference you won't notice. If your 15 acres is flat I would think the 33 would do just as good as the 35.

A 3-yr old TC35D without a loader for $16,500 is NOT a bargain or even a good deal. Go with the TC33DA. My two cents worth. . . /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I ORIGINALLY PUT THIS POST IN THE GENERAL AREA. AND NOW ITS HERE, I GUESS THEY MOVED IT FOR ME /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. ANYWAY I LIVE IN NY AND THE LAND I WILL BE USING THIS TRACTOR FOR IS A LITTLE HILLY BUT NOTHING MAJOR. I WAS UN SURE IF THE LARGER FRAME TRACTOR WOULD BE BETTER SUITABLE FOR ME. I JUST SOLD A 20 HP NORTRAC, THAT WAS WAY UNDER POWERED FOR MY APPLICATION. SO I DON'T WANT TO MAKE A MISTAKE AND WISH I HAD BOUGHT A LARGER MORE POWER FULL TRACTOR. AND THE 0% IS DEFINATLY A FACTOR THANKS AGAIN -JP

I'd think the cheaper NEW tractor would be a better deal. These things are built tough but you never know how the other guy treated or maintained his equipment. A warranty also brings peace-of-mind should anything go wrong, but I have yet to use the warranty on my 33D.

The used 35 seems over priced to me. There is not much of a price jump between the models.

I just bought my 2002 D33 (same thing in Case). 700 hours, FEL, 6' bucket, new tires, full of fuel.. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
for 11,800.00
Granted, I may have gotten a good deal, but not enough of a good deal to make yours sound reasonably priced for a used unit with no FEL

THE USED TC35D IN QUESTION WAS EQUIPED WITH A FEL. AND I CALLED THE DEALED TODAY AND IT IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. SO I'M BACK TO A NEW TC33DA OR A USED 2000 TC33D I FOUND WITH 550 HRS, HYDRO, R4'S FOR $11000 NO FEL /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
