Help Cleaning my Fimco Sprayer

I have a 35 gallon Fimco sprayer that I use for spraying the yard. I let it sit for 2 years while I let someone else spray it. I got it out today and it started right up, but the pressure fluctuates more than it did before and the wand was full of blue corrosion from the brass and water. I thought I cleaned it out real good when I put it away...

What can I run through it to clean out the pump? Vinegar???

Should be able to take the pump apart, and clean the inside parts. Probably a diaphram and valves.
What pump does Fimco use on this sprayer? Google for a parts listing and might also find a schematic of how the parts go together.
Vinegar soaking may clean up the brass. Might also the pump, but seems easiest to just take it apart.

I have success just running soapy water thru mine. You may want to run 2 or 3 cycles of soap but make sure you rinse it out real good when you are done.

I took it apart and it was clean. I put some wd40 in there and still the same thing... I wish this pump was as easy as the one listed above...

Are you positive it’s the pump, and not the tip(s) that are clogged?

Yes, its the pump. I messed with it all morning. I have run soap through it and cleaned everything. Right now it will start pumping like it should for about 30 seconds and then it will slow for 30 seconds. Almost machine like..... The battery is great, there are no leaks, and no clogs....

So I called Fimco and they think its a pressure regulator on the inside....

30 bucks....
