Help BX24 motor died on me

I was digging and moving graval to untill i lost power and motor died all within a minute. Every thing checks out OK undee hood oil water and so on and now it trun over but will not start can any one tell soming about this?? Thanks TTS 2007 BX24 230hr on it one service at Dealer....

Check the fuel filters. I am betting one is plugged up. There are two on a BX.

Ok I will check and gas in diesel tank LOL I DON'T THINK SO It was running good most of the day ///safety switches are ok it WILL turn over

A qiuck engine shutdown like you described would be a complete fuel loss to your engine. It sounds like your injector pump is not putting out fuel. I would check the safety switches (it will crank but not start if one of the switches is bad or unplugged). They control the shut off on the injector and the key start swich also controls that solenoid, it could be the pump shut off solenoid itself. Good luck it sould not be to hard to track down.

I would agree...check switches, fuel in the tank, the two fuel filter replacement, also fuel pump fuse.

my bx will do the same thing. On the left hand side you have two levers. Move the outer lever around and turn the key at the same time. Mine usually works when I push it all the way down. If that does not work try the other lever. It is probobly a shut off that is tied into the three point or mid mount hydrulics. Think safty switch.

1) Frist Off thanks for all the help 2) It would NOT even turn over if it as the safty switchis(two levers) and my bx will. so if it will turn over it's Not the S switchis . i had a buddy come over and we fould it was the boot on the diver shaft come off and slipped down and cut the ground wire to the fule pump wow and thats all it was thanks all TINYTRACTORSERVICE

heyu - I am glad you got it figuredd out, but how in the world did the drive shaft fall off in the first place ? I thought these things are indestructable?

Call me nuts, but there are no safety switches on the BX24 with loader/BH on. I removed my switches but when I had them using the FEL/BH you could do most anything.
