help!! b2410?

i have a chance to buy a new (2002) B2410 with 4wd and R4 tires for $11,200. i will see if they will sell it for this price after tax. . .is this a good deal? thank you for quick response as i think time is of the essence and i really don't want to miss out on what i think is a good deal? ? ?

Its hard to tell if this is a good price. You don't mention what else is in the deal. If this includes a loader, I would not waste any more time reading posts here, I would be at the dealer closing the deal. But if this is just the tractor, with no attachments, it is a fair price, somewhere around MSRP.I don't really know if I got a particularly good deal but I was happy with it. My 2410 (April 2002) was somewhere around $14,900 including, LA302FL Loader, Tooth Bar, Bar Turf Tires, Rear tire fill, Subframe for backhioe, and bucket grapple. There was also a lot of minor stuff like work lights and hydro attachments.Good luck!

$11,200 is 4wd tractor only (with R4s). . .is there access to MSRP vs invoice statements on tractors avail on internet???. . .
i am not talking about used quotes from machinerylink. . .

Well, I don't know about any site that would give you the invoice price, but I am sure you know about the Kubota site. From there you can access the MSRPs on all the models. If you take that and deduct any applicable rebate that would give you the current dealer starting price. The going dealer margin on botas is about 17%, so I guess you could look at the MSRP less 17% as an invoice price. Be aware the dealer must still pay shipping, and preparation. In Virginia the tax only amouts to about 2% of the deal (Ag equipment).I bought mine from Byrd tractor in Manassas, Virginia (703)361-2135. The salesman, Jeremy Wilson, says that Byrd can do remote sales. To my knowledge Byrd does not have a web site. He is a reputable dealer, and has been in the area for over 35 years. Most of his customers are returns and word of mouth referals.

"is this a good deal" ?, a good deal is a deal you are happy with. Price is not the only consideration. A MMM runs about 2,000 dollars, the loader will be another 3,000 or so, since I got my 2410 for the average price of about XXXXXX if I add your 11,100 plus 1,900 (MMM) plus 2,600 (FEL) puts your price for a package similar to mine at about 15,600 dollars which is a decent price. Second that vote. I got a B2410 with loader w/toothbar, box scraper and RFM for 16250. And I am happy with the deal. It sounds like yours could even come out sweeter, so if you think U need the tractor, then good deal all around.

Scholten's Price (tractor only)= $12,850
Scholten's Price (tractor/wloader)= $15,950

Based on delivered B2410, 4X4, Hydro, Calcium filled R4's, with a Kubota LA352 loader, 3year warranty.

The rebate on that deal is $700 good thru 07/31/02.

Sounds like you would beat that deal by $950. I think their loader price sounds a little high also.
