Hi, I have a Ford 500 tractor from the early 70's that I use for cutting fire breaks in autumn each year.
I have 150 acre smallholding near Nelspruit in Mpumalanga, South Africa.

I have a Ford 5000 tractor, not sure of the year but I believe it is somewhere in the 1970's.
My grand children pulled the alternator wires out and I don't know where they go, hope someone can help.
There are 6 terminals on the back of the alternator as follows:
2 terminal nuts, one marked W and the other +
There is a small spade connector next to the + nut marked Aux.
There are 3 spade connectors in a separate housing, a small connector marked Ind and 2 large ones both marked +.

Welcome!

You should post another post in one of the maintenance subforums to get your wiring answer. You'll get more eyes on your Q there. Good luck and that sounds like a good old tractor.

Perhaps someone could take a quick photo of their wiring for simplicity.;)
