Hello from North Eastern Maryland

Hi Everyone,

Finally pulled the trigger on a tractor after years of Saturday mornings reading tractorbyNet and other sites. Found a 1987 Ford 1710 tractor with a loader in great shape and have been playing around with it every chance I've had since I brought it home. What an awesome machine and I am glad I waited and found the right tractor for me.

Hi Rising Sun, I just joined the forums and I am from Southern Maryland. Bought a 1987 tractor also, but a JD 755 mfwd compact. I think I am going to have to upgrade to something larger in a few years when I get the money saved, when I got this one to the property it suddenly looked alot smaller then when it did sitting in the driveway of the house. Oh well, for the time being it will mostly get done what I need.

Are you still in part of the Eastern Shore that hasn't exploded with growth? It used to be very rural down here but we have been seeing alot of Urban sprawl because of the base consolidations (Pax River).
