Hello from Michigan

I am a 70 year old retired electrical/mechanical engineer living in the wilds of mid-Michigan. I retired about 5 years ago.

I bought my JD2210 in 2006 and its been the great. I have about two acres of land to care for, and now that I am retired, the 2210 is doing things for me that I can no longer do myself. Pesky firewood does get a bit heavy.

I do have one complaint though. The lack of seat suspension is killing my back. I am hoping that someone has made a conversion to a seat suspension that I might learn about.
Otherwise I look forward to contributing and learning more about the 2210 as well as other models.

Welcome from another mid Michigan Michigander. Retired last year at 70 from the carpentry trade and having a ball keeping things shipshape around the farmstead at my pace with out the benefit of clients, bankers, OSHA, the EPA, and building inspectors.
For better or worse and home for lunch with the good spouse every day too. Sweet.
Gotta admit though stuff is a lot heavier these days than it once was. Thank God for my FEL and pallet forks.

I have found a seat suspension from a JD X485. As soon as it gets here my grandson and I will make the conversion. Will keep you posted.
