Hey folks.

Just signed up this morning and already can't stop going over the LS board.

I had a chance to stop in at my local LS dealer (Bruce's Tractor, Herman, Maine) and am quite smitten with the XG 3135H. As has been said in other threads here, LS offers a lot of bang for your hard earned buck. The general opinions seem to be overwhelmingly positive.

I think I found the tractor to manage my 6.5 ac homestead. Snow removal and hay mowing & raking & sweeping (not gonna bale) will be the heaviest jobs for the most part. Daily use will be moving mobile critter shelters and fetching water, etc.

I don't anticipate getting started before summer of 2019 so plenty of time to research everything out. Looking forward to learning more from you all.

Tim

Welcome to TBN and the forum, Tim. I see we are about as far apart as possible and still in the same country. Enjoy your research.

Yes, Welcome! Fun and very capable little tractor. Just turned over 18 hours on mine and am having a blast. Reading this Forum beats the heck out of watching TV! Folks are very helpful and willing to share their knowledge and experiences. Enjoy your Tractor.

I'm in Maine too, just purchased a XR4140HC if you'd like to take a look at it in person. Welcome.

I'd love to Drew, but I'm hopping across the Pond Sunday. Maybe I'll buzz ya in the Spring when I return to building our love shack in the hay field.

And much thanks for the welcome lads. Tractor folks tend to be the best at sharing info and there's quite a bit to glean here.

Have you considered the XR for the rear valves?

Have you considered the XR for the rear valves?

Most definitely!

Everything compact wise, is on the table right now. I'll be financing it and won't be in a money bind so I have many options to consider and the XR models are doable. I may even step up to a 40 HP. And I would save thousands over a comparable green machine.

If I get the rear SB the rear remotes will be a necessity if I understand things aright.

As I approach decision time, I'll see what the dealer will do for me, of course.

Welcome, 3135 was my next choice but after testing the 3025, I was hooked. I tend a 16 acre farm with it.
