Hello from a new member

Hello tractor fans. I am the sometimes proud, sometimes frustrated owner of an early Ford New Holland 1700 4WD tractor. I joined up here to share advice and parts sources for this diabolical machine. My current project is figuring out how to repair a broken front axle. New part is not available, an upgrade kit may be, but it's big bucks. I've found a machine shop that can make the part and I'm hoping to connect with others in need to share the cost of making a few. This is a common fault on this tractor, so I know you're out there. Any info or advice greatly appreciated.
