I used to be real involved with tinkering with old garden machines several years ago, but seemed to have lost some of the passion for it over time. I used to have about 6 or 8 garden tractors, mostly sears, but have brought it to a more manageable 3. a 1984 Murray 18 HP, a 1970 Sears 10XL and last summer found a 1987 Ford YT-16H. Looking forward to picking more knowledgeable brains than mine on the the Ford as I have never owned a hydrostatic before and am wondering lately about the wisdom in buying it.

I haven't been to Eli Cannons in years, but tipped many a pint there in the 1990's. Probably why I never had any money to buy tractor parts!
