Thanks. We've got hummingbirds at my mother in law's house, but they are so darn quick you just get them in the viewfinder and they zip over to the next flower. They look like little helicopters /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

a few days late to this post but will add my 2 cents anyhow. i shoot at the highest res just under tiff. then i put them on a zip disk for safe keeping then scale them down for e mailing or posting and burn the ones i really want to keep to cd. once u burn them they are a blast to view on tv through your dvd player. the one thing about digital cameras is they are a tad slow in getting the pic once u press the shutter, my camera is 1.5 years old(going to get a new one) so the newer onse are probably faster. shoot your brains out, don't cost nothing and instant pleasure.
