We feed the rounds in bale feeders. I use Souix feeders because they are heavy enough that the mares can't break them. A 2100 pound horse can really bend up a cheap bale feeder like the ones TSC sells. They may last a season, then they are scrap. The Souix feeders are welded, heavy gage tubing. Problem is, they are hard to find around here.
