Several, all used and abused.
I've been buying hay from this guy for the last four years. His hay is the best that I've found. It's the most expensive too, but from those times before I met him, it's cheaper to buy from him then deal with all the bad hay out there!!!! These are 4x5 1/2 foot clean coastal horse quality bales for $90 each delivered.

Looks good to me. I had to chop my 3rd cut this year, the weather wasn't cooperating at all.

Around here, 90 bucks isn't outrageous for quality forage and presently, there isn't any to be had. Lots of crap out there but good forage, not.

2 things, one, I hope you keep them inside out of the weather and 2, when we had horses, we never fed rounds on the ground. Horses have a habit of eating some, then leaving it on the ground and peeing or pooping on it and always was a mess. We went to elevated controlled access feeders and cut our bale usage in half. No more rank hay on the ground either. Horses are long gone and so are the feeders.

I copied the Klene Pipe Structures controlled access feeders and add a roof as well. Built 2 of them and sold both in 2 days.

That’s his backup truck. The one ton dually was out in the field. I’m not sure what that means. But I nodded like I did.

When we get steers, I use a hay ring for the round bales. Set the bale on end, put the ring over top, then cut the webbing. I’m not sure I would do that outdoors for horses because of potential mold.

I’ve never liked hay rings. Huge waste of hay, but I guess if you got money to burn, more power to ya.

I like a hay hut

Or a V-pipe feeder much better

That is an interesting hay trailer! Never seen one like that before, but I guess its for flatter more wide open country than around here. I think I have 1 spot on the driveway near the barn where it could be unloaded like that, most places half the bales would rolling down a hill! Pretty fast way to unload though.
