Tire Selection Having Trouble Finding R1 Tires

Looking for new R1 Ag tires for a a Mahindra 3510 tractor. It has the Industrial R4s that it originally came with in 2009 (?) and now needing the R1s. Where is a good place to find them? Not having a bit of luck locally at tire places or Mahindra Dealers! Thanks!

Specialty car tire stores (Firestone, Goodyear, etc.) can usually order tractor tires with next day delivery.

Shop with your existing tire sizes in hand.

EBay sells tractor tires. One of the best sources for unusual size tractor tires.

I have deep tread R4s which I prefer over R1s.

Massey could be different but on my Kubota the Ag tires use different sized wheels. In my case I doubt I could find ag tires that would be the same size as the industrials. So to switch I would have to buy new tires and wheels or find a used set.

As Oldnslo mentioned you'll probably need to buy rims for the R1's as they'll be different than the R4 rims.
Here's the tire choices I had on my Mahindra 2615. As you can see each type tire needed a different size rim. Mine had the R4's
Ag front: 7x16
Ag rear: 11.2x24
Lawn/turf front: 25x8.5-14
Lawn/turf rear: 13.6x16
Industrial front: 27x8.5-15
Industrial rear: 15x19.5

On JD compact tractors they use different width rims for R4s and R1s.

Mine came with the r4s also as is typical. I've been running r1s in the winter and they work GREAT. I did not have clearance for chains on my 3015 plus my snow clearing clients wouldn't want chains used on their driveways anyway. I made a set of chains for them but haven't needed them. I had to get all four tires with wheels because of the 4wd. I was able to get them through my nearest dealer in Chico CA. Check with Bills Tractor in Texas if your dealer can't get them. Seems I paid about $1600 for my size. It's been worth it.

I had a NH 1220 and now a 1620 that both had turf tires / rims. I wanted to switch to the R 1's but could not locate used or aftermarket rims. The NH store wanted half again as much as I paid for the tractor. A consolation price would be finding an R 4 tire that fir on the turf rims. I ended up putting r 4's on the rear of the 1220 only before selling it. Can anyone help me out with locating the apparently rare R 1 rims for the NH 1620? tks
