having anti-sway issues on 2605

anyone know secret to adjusting antisway on 2008 mf 2605. if i adjust with implement at ground level when i lift , the chain/turnbukcle style linkage binds and bends pins or breaks links , if i adjust in raised position when lowered you have 3 to 4 inches of sway, i have been told this is poor design , i will carry to dealer if i can't figure it out , thanks
