The "A" model of either tractor would be $1200 less than the "DA"

This seems like the good starting point for discussing a sale except for the ag tires adding $2322 to the price. The questions I need to ask the steeler; is what would the industrial tires charge be?

Can anyone tell me the tires sizes for both ag and industrial? Do they use the same wheel?

Hmmmm...we have some prices on these units. Presumably they are retail less the 12%. What does the 12% represent...dealer discount? If so, wonder what the deal would be near Xmas, then again in the spring.

Right now there is 0% 48 months finance on these two models which is attractive if I can get the right price.

Your prices are okay, but I think I'd try to get another 3% off. This time of year, the dealer should be able to do 15% off MSRP.

I'm not sure how he has priced the tire/wheel package. Is he saying industrials are no cost or just not priced? If you get wide ag tires, I think they use the same rims as the industrial tires. Narrow ags definitely do not use the wide wheels.

I think you are high by about $1,000 per tractor. I have been told the invoice is around 75% of MSRP (rule of thumb) and most dealers want about 10-11% above invoice, which means you should be able to do a little better than 15%, maybe 16 or 17% off of MSRP. Check with Corriher by e-mail for a no obligation quote (www.corimpco.com). Last year they quoted me $24,900 for a TC55DA plus 18LA FEL with Ag tires, which is less than your guy is asking for the TC45DA. Use whatever price they give you to negotiate from.
