Have not heard from JD

I bought a 2210 + Loader + 62" MMM + 47" snow blower. It was delivered Jan. 17. I thought I would hear from John Deere by now. I have heard of people getting caps in the mail.
23 years back when I bought my last tractor I recvied a letter from John Deere congraulating me /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I took delivery on my 4310 in July 2004. I just received my Owner's hat in the mail last week.

I bought my 4010 in October, 2004. Just got my owner's hat a couple weeks ago. The kid is wearing it now. In this avatar he was wearing one given me by the salesman.

I don't remember getting a hat from the factory. My dealer has given me a couple and I have bought at least half a dozen. They make great gifts for my friends who live out of state.

I'd like to know where I can get the British driver's hat style in JD green with JD logo. Couldn't find a source on the web. Don't find the stiff bill on baseball style hats comfortable.

Funny story.............

Was working deals with both the local Kubota dealer & a JD Dealer in South Carolina. The JD dealer called me up and after a little haggling, I ended up making the deal. Would sign all the paperwork when he delivered the machine.

Get off the phone, and the wife asks me about hats. Told her sorry, I forgot all about it.

She picks up the phone, calls the salesman back, and informs him that WE have a problem. You could hear the the sucking sound from across the room.

She informs him that the Kubota dealer promised us two hats, and she expected the same from him.

Anyway got the tractor in June 04, John Deere Factory hat got here in October.


Oh, NEEDLESS to say the wife got her hat!

When I bought my 318 back in 1989 it cost me $6000 and the salesguy threw in two caps as part of the deal. Spent 3 times that much for my 4210 back in 2002 and he never even offered me a cap that time...same salesguy too. Oh well....
