As the title says, when it is cold starts right up. works for 5-10 min then dies and would not start again. Let it cooll for 20 minutes, starts and dies almost immediately.
Next day starts from the first or second pull.
Put a new carb, same thing.
Spark plug is dry and light brown color.
Spark is strong.

Any thought?

I had a 353 do that turned out to be a plugged vent to the tank, but the 353 has funky vent location in the plastics. I carry a piece of wire to poke it clear when needed.

That husky is the poulan heart version. So many things you need to check.

Once you go through the simple stuff like lines, fuel filter, sparkplug, checking piston, carb diagrams, etc etc.
These use a duckbill valve for tank vent. Doubt that but wipe the outer off if caked..

Coil be my guess to check with a inline spark tester to see if looses spark and if no spark when trying to start when warm.

Then the impulse grommet are known to go bad. Sometimes the rubber intake boot hardens and looses seal. GL

I had small Husqvarna similar to yours do that few years ago, ended up being the coil, sometimes spark, so was tricky to trace problem.

The carb is new, the old one did the same, the line is new, the filter is new, the spark plug is new, coil is new.
There is a strong spark when i try with inline tester and with the plug out.

Interesting note, the spark plug is absolutely dry light brown color. It seems to me the fuel is not getting in to the cylinder even though the the fuel line is full with gas.

Where is this duckbill valve located? I cannot find it. Any pictures?

Many time the little duckbill vent is at the top of the fuel tank. Maybe remove the recoil and look in there.

Tank vent on the 141 should be left side of tank behind crankcase. If i recall right.

If your impulse grommet is cracked it isnt going to pull mix either.

Just opened the carb. It is full of gas, so it pulls well.
Installed a new NGK Spark instead of original champion. It starts now, but it gets only up to 8k rpm and doesn't work even no matter the High adjustment. Tried everything from 1/4 turn to 4 turns out. No luck. Also, works well only with the low 3 turns out instead of 1-1/4.
Interesting this champion plug works well in my other saws.
Ordered a new OEM carb. It will arrive on Monday. Will see.

OK, finally the issue was resolved. The problem was in the new, apparently defective ignition coil.
What i noticed, when i was able to start the saw, i was never able to get more than 8K RPM.
A Google search show potential coil problem.
Ordered another new one. After a few coughs the saw started and runs like a raped ape again.
Thank you guys for your advice and time.
