Has anyone else had their foot throttle break?

Using the tractor today, dk 40 se, when the pedal didn't feel right, looked down and it was no longer attached to the plastic mount on the bottom. It looks like the whole pedal is basically plastic, seems like a poor design. It was not something I expected to have to replace. Dealer has to order a replacement. Thankfully it's under warranty.
