NEWVILLE, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say a man has been killed in a combine accident on a central Pennsylvania farm.
State police in Cumberland County say the accident happened at about 9:45 a.m. Monday on a farm in North Newton Township on Route 533.
Corner Todd Eckenrode says 19-year-old Mark Weaver was harvesting corn when the combine he was using became clogged.
He says Weaver got out of the cab to check and was killed when he became entangled in the auger in the front of the combine.
Eckenrode ruled the death an accident
