Harry Morgan dies at 96 M*A*S*H star

Loss of a great actor. We all have to go sometime though.

Morgan (Col Potter) on the M*A*S*H series helped to make that show one of Americas favorites in the day and probably still popular now in syndication. I have seen him in other shows, but I best remember him on the MASH series and his other co-stars that where on the show. Good , clean humor in those days.

yep sorry to see him go.. of course he was in a lot of different movies and TV shows, including dragnet, but I will always remember him as Col. Potter

He was a great character actor. I wasn't a M*A*S*H fan, so I will best remember him as Sheriff Slade in The Flim-Flam Man, one of my favorite movies.

A real class act unlike the actors and celebrities today. He did great work in MASH and Dragnet. I really liked his work as the town marshal in the The Shootist with John Wayne. He could hold his own with the best in Hollywood.

I still watch M*A*S*H, probably have seen every episode atleast 6-7 times, own the final episode on DVD and even have a book. It was one of the last great shows on TV{IMO} now all we get is trash, these reality shows are garbage. Harry was a good actor sure could show a thing or two, to the nincompoops of today

I usually watch M*A*S*H , when I can . Harry Morgan was a good fit for the show . I'm glad some of these old classics are taped and ran for us to enjoy over and over . A lot better than some of the junk on tv now . R.I.P , Mr . Morgan .

Yes a very big loss, I also remember him best in M*A*S*H and did see him in other movies and TV shows. Very sad. Who was the character he played in Dragnet? I can remember it shown here in Oz.

Dang...Loved him on M*A*S*H. Hate to hear he's gone, but at least he enjoyed life for a long, long time.
