I just bought one, I now know that I will need the adaptor bracket for the top link to work.

My implement, (in this case a rake) will need longer pins where it connects to the side bars.

The pins are currently 2 3/4" long, and I need to get them more like 3" long to gain enough room to put a locking pin in the end so it wont jump out of the hitch at the sides.

Is that OK, cause I am concerned that the longer the pin, the easier to bend it....only using the quick hitch to grab my rake, my 4' box blade and my 6' finish mower.

My tractor is the jinma 224, and there were no problems encountered hooking the hitch to the tractor. I see how it works but just want to do the right thing.

Hi!

I had the same issue with a box blade that did not meet the specs for a Class one TPH. I used 6 or 8 inch long grade 8 bolts with nylock nuts - the same diameter as the original pins. I welded on an extra support brace at the end of each bolt so it was supported on both ends. I have used the BB a lot and have not done any damage to it as of yet.
