Rake harbor freight QH w/ kk 6' rake

I just got my harbor F. qh and tried to install a KK rake and it would not go on. I measured qh and it was 27.5", my woods mower and kk middlebuster will work with the adapter that I can't seem to order ( thats another story). I measured the the rake and it was over 28 inches wide. I just bought this rake and used it for about 2 hours before my QH came. Could KK of made an error when they welded it together and made it to wide?

I only have a suggestion, can you go to TSC or wherever you bought your rake and measure the KK quick hitches? I would think that KK rake should work with the KK quick hitch. If you do head to town to look, measure a rake they have to see if it is the same as your rake.

Please let us know what you find out. I dont think I'll be needing any more implements, but I'd like to know if all manufactures fall with in certain widths.
All of my fit the speedco I just bought, but barely on some.

I will measure for sure, I'm thinking its the rake because my KK middlebuster and woods mower will fit and have the same distance

Yes its the rake, its over 28 inches to where the pins go thru. add the washer like metal attatched to the pins and its another 1/4 inch on each side. Farm and Fleet didn't have any more 6' rakes. they did have 2 7' and the measurments on each rake were different. Certainly doesn't say much for KK.

so now I have to take a tape measure with me every time I think about an implement? Thanks for keeping us posted. I just got my KK tiller home and haven't even un-crated it yet. But I'll measure none the same.

Didn't I read on here that someone bought KK or was it the other way around that KK bought someone else?
