I print extras and give them to the other shoppers. Kinda makes me feel like Santa.

Has anyone one else noticed that they don't get in new stock like they used to at the retail stores? I have some rain checks that are over a month old and the same item hooks sit empty in the store. I have them check every time I'm there on the computer, to no avail. It is probably due to the economic slow down - fewer ships coming from China.

For those of you who like to shop at HF, I would recommend you sign up for the their flier to be mailed to you. These coupons come out a couple of times a year and they do come in handy.

Thanks Scotty, I saved a bundle as well. The only question asked of me was whether I was a preferred customer, which the coupon refers to. I just told them " I better be " and nothing more was said. Getting 20% off my entire purchase was a sweet deal.

Glad a couple of you folks could use that! I gotta fess-up! I've never been in Harbor Freight, although they've had a store here for a couple years. I spotted the coupon deal at another BB and thought I'd pass it along. Sunday I went out to buy a Auto-Darkening welders helmet, but wasn't really thrilled with what I saw. Especially after reading about cheap helmets on this board. I did manage to pick up some trinkets though, locking pliers, magnets etc. Obivously not "Vise-Grip" quality, but for a couple bucks, what the hey! Trouble was as I looked stuff over, checked the price then thought, "Hey, I've got 20% off! It became "I'll take one of those, 2 of those, and three of them over there!" Enjoy your purchases! I thought once you gave them your name, address and E-mail, you were a "preferred customer". Sorry if I put you in an awkward position!

They didn't ask me anything, just scanned the coupon. I have signed up for the emails and coupons, but they never send but a few, then they stop. I get the mail order catalogs pretty regularly, but only the first and last couple of pages are sale prices, the rest are regular prices. Unlike the store sale papers where almost all prices are discounted.
Anyway thanks again, and thanks to xlr82v2 who's post made the coupon show up.
