Happy birthday to me. I got my new M7040!

I pulled the trigger and purchased a new M7040HD (4WD and hydraulic shuttle). I took delivery two days before my 57th birthday. I love it. I have already mowed about 15 acres, moved some round hay bales and pulled some stumps. I decided not to get the canopy right now. I will get one later.

Many thanks to those of you who responded to my posts regarding this purchase. This is an excellent forum and it is obvious to me that the people who participate really care about others. Thanks again.

Buzzard7, Congrats on the new tool! Thats a real monster!
Well hows the fit into your barn doors? Which tires R1/R4's did you decide on?
Also after some seat therapy, please post some pic's!

I tried to post some pictures, but couldn't get them to load. I guess I will have to get my wife to do it for me. The tractor fits in the barn without any problem since I didn't get the canopy. I think I will be able to use my FEL to drag some dirt out of the barn and level it up. At that point I think the tractor will fit with a canopy. I decided to get the R-1 tires, probably because that was what was on the tractor at the dealer. I really could have gone either way on the tires.

Buzz: Be sure the hydraulic shuttle shift engages smoothly in both directions. There have been a number of tractors including mine that required adjustment after delivery. You'll never look back at the Barbie "B" and "L" (including grand L) models. "M" series is for men It's the real deal And get out those huge drain containers (walmart house hold is cheapest) at 50 hrs. have a blast. We're ready for a pic bb

Shoot, we've got owls for chickens, wild hogs for pets, and use chicken wire for mosquitoes...but when it comes to tractors, we don't ***** foot around. As for the egos Texas produces, look no further than the oval office. Me, I'll just hang out with the wild hogs and big 'bota here in the Ozark Mountains. peace! bb
