I have been frustrated for years by the poor 35W lamps in the L2850 headlights. I use a set of 55W halogen lamps on the ROPS to help forward and to the rear but have longed for a decent set of headlights when running the tractor with the front loader and a 6' electro-hydraulic snow blade at night.
Well I found them. An online place called Don's Bulbs carries a 50W halogen of the same type as the L2850 uses (it is a base type P15D30 and is common on motorcycles). Here is the link to his bulb: 11230 BICLITE - halogen light bulb lamp - donsbulbs - light bulbs lamps valve valves tube tubes
I would guess a number of other Kubotas use the same original bulb.
I should also mention I changed the headlights and aux lights so they are powered from Bosch type automotive relays, controlled from the headlight switch. This decreases the voltage loss to the lights (shorter larger wire to the battery) and unloads the light control switch which probably isnt designed to carry the added current.
