H165 Loader and attachments with dual pins

Hi All, i have a JD 3303R w/ an H165 loader. My loader has the hook and single pin. I'm interested in getting a pallett fork attachemnt. I like the Titan model with the combo hay spear but that model has the 2 pins vs the single pin. In fact, most JD attachments i'm finding seem to lean towards the 2 pins. I'm confused, can i use the quick attach attachments that are designed for the 2 pins? (will i just be using the upper pin? ) or do i need to use the lower pin and grind off the upper pin?.

I tried contacting Titan directly but the sales person thought it wouldn't fit.

Any help from the JD / TBN community would be greatly appreciated!

Inspctorman. I'm not familiar with the Titan but I assume, like my bucket, the dual pins are so the bucket can be used with different size loaders. I bought the forks from EA. While I'm not happy with the shipping (paint rubbed off and broken strap) the forks are perfectly matched in weight and capacity for my 3046R/H165. They have 1 set of pins. I hope this helps.

Thanks MechE1, so your bucket has dual pins but fits okay on your H165? Does it just use the upper pins? If so, maybe any JD quick attach attachment with dual pins will work on my H165?

That style is generally called "JDQA" or John Deere Quick Attach. In the dual pin setup, the top set (closer to the hook) will work on everything from the small 1-series tractors all the way through the larger 4-series machines. The lower pins are for the 5-series and up.

So, yes...the attachments with the dual pins will work perfectly with your loader.
