Last year, I bought my father a 335 for Father's Day. He has now had it (exactly) one year. It has 45 hours on it and is in good shape. Kept inside, and only used for mowing. I have thought about trading it in on a 485 or a 495 for my Dad (and selfishly for me when I go mow for him). Does anyone have a good idea what one should ask for private sale or trade in for such a machine (it has a 48C deck)? The reason for the trade is I have found the X series to be easier to operate and more comfortable, and my father in his retirement has taken on a couple elderly neighbors' yards for mowing, requiring maybe a bit larger machine.
