GX255 and a 44 snowblower - will it work?

Hi! I have a new to me GX255 mower and a chance to pick up a new 44 snowblower made for the X300 and X500 series. Any way to make them work? I am pretty handy, so modifications are not a problem if minor, but I don't need to redesign everything!
