Other then pics online, I've never seen a Belly blade on a CUT...

BUT, I can say this...on "Large Farm Tractor" front blades, the Grouser products are TOP of the line... I personally wouldnt worry about the quality of Grouser products from what I've seen on their big stuff.

I called grousser directly and got a price quote of 10,000 USD to outfit an 84 HP New Holland. this is without the optional laser level. this price is a little steep for my liking but if someone had a landscaping outfit it could be worth the money.

as a side note there is a company called Buehler which makes a rear balde that can hydraulicly angle tilt and side shift, as well as up and down on the three point hitch. I have a quote of 3400 CAD with all bells and whistles on it.
it.

Woods, LandPride, Bush Hog, and others, all offer rear blades with hydraulic, tilt, angle, and offset. Usually the hydraulics are optional equipment.

stoanh, you have a good price on that rear blade. If you decide to go that way, be sure that you purchase a blade that is rated for the size of your tractor. There are hydraulic rear blades that would be on the light weight side for an 84hp tractor. My guess is that a blade that would be suited to your tractor would be closer to 4k US funds.

acutally it was a series 80 that i quoted rated up to 80 hp but they also have a series 100 that is note that much more it is most likely the way I will go as the Grouser is nice but too rich for my blood.

Cheers

I played with a Belly Blade on a Grand L Kubota a couple of years ago. It is a neat concept and the build quality and function was typical of Grouser products: excellent. Your price tag sounds about what I had heard at the time.

The limitations that I saw with the Belly Blade:
- the lack of ground clearance
- you can quickly run out of traction if the bite that you take is too big.

I believe that you can remove the blade relatively easily which will help the clearance issues.

I have checked the Grouser belly blade and it's overpriced. It would cost $15,000 for my tractor because it has a cab ($10,000 just for the blade and $5,000 for an electric control box which is also laser ready). For tractors up to 35 HP, there is the Leith Enterprises, Mini-Maintainer which costs $5,000 plus $500 for an electrical control box, which is much more reasonable.
