Just a quick introduction following forum protocol; will be posting a much more detailed message in the New Holland / Ford section. Been perusing various threads as a 'guest' for quite some time, but recently purchased my grandfathers 1979 Ford 1700. I remember riding on this tractor when it was new at five years old (dating myself a little
), pretty special to buy it back from the current owner a few weeks ago. Looking to first, perform all needed maintenance, second, get a few things working that have been inoperative for years.
