I have looked alot for stuff like that and never saw that one. The diagrams really makes it easy to understand. The concepts can be adapted to what ever grading tool you are using.
A lot of people think they are doing something wrong or have an impliment problem if they can't do the job in one pass. That paper shows how an organized approach with multiple passes gets the job done. Thanks for posting.

The problem I have is that when I grade, I fill in the pot holes with loose fill, but the first time a car rolls over the road, it compacts the loose fill and I still have a depression to collect water. Anyone have any tricks short of grading as deep as the original hole?

Makes me rethink just what I may want to get to cut some new roads on my property and maintain the 1 1/2 mile dirt road out to my property..
