I just bought a pair of leather, waterproof, double palm, Thinsulate lined gloves with a half elastic wrist and Velcro cinch strap on the back for only $10.99 and they're actually nice looking enough for non-work wear.
I found them at Tractor Supply. The label is C.E. Schmidt Workwear. For those who care, C.E. Schmidt was the founder of TSC, so this is a house brand. Also, I was able to get into a pair of XL's, which is rare at best. Usually I need XXL or XXXL in gloves.
