I have a Husqvarna 61 inch mower. The user manual says to use "molybdenum disulfide" grease when servicing in. I have good old Tractor Supply lithium grease that I use in everything else I own (NH tractor, 8n, etc).

Do I need to go out of my way for special grease? If so, what does this grease do for me?

Thanks,

Dave.

I also use the TSC grease in my jinma tractor, bull dozer, and mini excavator. I HIGHLY doubt a lawn tractor would take more abuse then those machines. I worry more about greasing things{more then needed probably} then buying name brand stuff. I'm sure someone else more educated on this will be more help then myself though.
